Watchdog Terms of Service

Welcome to Watchdog! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Watchdog AI Content Moderator bot (“Watchdog,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which offers content moderation services. Watchdog is a product of Mockernut Ventures LLC. By accessing or using Watchdog, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Watchdog.
1. Services
Watchdog provides an AI-powered content moderation service that listens to messages within chat groups to identify and take action against rule violations. Watchdog integrates with various chat platforms and uses technology to promote a safe and respectful chatting environment.
2. Use of the Service
You must follow all instructions provided when using Watchdog, including any applicable guidelines, usage policies, or rules. You agree not to misuse or tamper with our services or help anyone else do so.
3. Privacy and Data Usage
By using Watchdog, you understand that all messages in the chat group are analyzed by the service. Messages are stored on our servers and are processed by OpenAI to evaluate rule violations. Refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on data handling.
4. Payment
If you purchase services that Watchdog offers, payments will be processed by third-party services, including Lemon Squeezy and Stripe. Your payment information is handled according to the privacy policies of these payment processors, and we do not store your payment data on our servers.
5. Intellectual Property
Watchdog and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Mockernut Ventures LLC and its licensors.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including a breach of Terms.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will strive to provide notice within a reasonable period before the new terms take effect. Notice of changes may be communicated to you via email, posted on our website, or through our service directly.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration in South Dakota, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief for alleged infringement or misappropriation of intellectual property rights.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Watchdog, a product of Mockernut Ventures LLC, makes no warranties, either express or implied, about the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Mockernut Ventures LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the service; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service; (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our service by any third party; (v) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the service; and/or (vi) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mockernut Ventures LLC and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service, including, but not limited to, any use of the Service’s content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms or your use of any information obtained from the Service.
